Imposing rock formations, rolling red sands, and a night sky far removed from England’s damp-towel of a roof – Wadi Rum is a fine spot to set one’s tripod. Jordan is one of my favourite destinations – there is simple so much to see there. During our trip in 2013 we visited Amman, Jerash, the Dead Sea, Petra, Wadi Rum and Aqaba – Jordan’s Red Sea resort and only sea port.
