Its colonial architecture, picturesque window boxes and colourful streets awash with street art and installations define old town Cartagena, Colombia. We spent four days exploring the old town (and some of the new). The Caribbean coastal city is full of charm with endless cobbled streets to explore, countless restaurants to enjoy and a relaxed atmosphere that almost makes the city feel more European than Colombian. Once the sun goes down though, the town comes alive with street performers and the famed Latin-American nightlife.
